The Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay Deluxe is an enhanced version of the original DBD pedal. This analogue effect has two split channels, a Short and a Long one, which allow you to quickly switch between short and long delays, ideal for live applications in particular. On one end of the scale, it offers a snappy slap-back delay, and on the other, one up to 900 milliseconds long. The DBD Deluxe delivers the same tape echo sound as its more compact counterpart.

This pedal's rich, vintage sound is the result of a fully-analogue processed signal. An enormous amount of attention was paid to emulating an authentic echo, and because this pedal is not equipped with noise-reduction circuitry, the decay sounds as natural as possible. It doesn't matter where this pedal is inserted in your signal chain, it always maintains musical and flexible properties. Because the signal is True Bypass, the pedal won't cause any signal loss in your chain when de-activated.
