General
The EarthQuaker Devices Avalanche Run delay effect offers guitarists a range of options as vast as the Himalayas. Not only does it deliver the most outstanding delays, it also includes a reverb. Both effects can be activated individually or simultaneously. Simply set the desired number of repeats and delay time, and adjust the balance between your dry and wet signals until your output sounds just right. For a custom delay, use the tap tempo button, or better yet, hold it down to make your signal oscillate and blow your audience away! Anyone who's fond of atmpsheric delays and plate reverb sounds will absolutely love working with the Earthquaker Devices Avalanche Run. This effects pedal is powered by means of a 9V battery or adapter.
Earthquaker Devices
The American company Earthquaker Devices originated in 2004, more or less by accident. When devoted musician Jamie Stillman broke one of the potentiometers on his favourite overdrive pedal, he decided to fix it himself. Once he opened up the pedal, he quickly got the hang of the circuitry, which induced him to start creating his own stomp boxes. Stillman turned out to be very talented, and it wasn't long before other musicians started using his pedals. From 2004 to 2010, Stillman was tour manager and guitar tech for the Black Keys, and partly responsible for Dan Auerbach's sound. In 2005 he launched Earthquaker Devices, which by now has grown into a sizeable company that manufactures handwired, boutique-style guitar effect pedals for a very reasonably price. Built by musicians, for musicians!
