General
If you thought a bass guitar multi-effect pedal would be complicated and expensive, then you were wrong. The VOX StompLab IIB is not only incredibly affordable, it's also easy to use. Moreover, it's nice and compact, with a sturdy build and classic VOX styling. Of course the most important thing is that sound, and you won't have to worry about that either with the StompLab IIB. It's equipped with 61 realistic bass guitar amp and effect models from the best-selling ToneLab multi-effects and VT+ modelling amplifiers. A functional expression pedal has also been integrated for even more expressive freedom.
VOX StompLab IB: ideal for inexperienced users
If you've never worked with multi-effect processors and don't know much (or anything) about effects, then don't fret, because you'll still be able to conjure up quick, easy, professional bass sounds with this multi-effect pedal. That's because the StompLab IIB comes with no fewer than 100 factory presets, or, sounds that have been preprogrammed for you. VOX has also organised the presets by music genre for you, so you can choose from styles such as jazz/fusion, pop, rock, heavy, and funk & dance - each of which have ten different variations. Even inexperienced users won't have trouble locating and using the sound they're looking for. If you have trouble tuning your bass guitar, that won't be an issue anymore either, as the StompLab IIB has a built-in chromatic tuner.
Make and save your own sounds
While playing with presets is fun, eventually you're probably going to want to make your own sounds too. Luckily, that's a piece of cake with the VOX StompLab IIB. Its 61 sounds are divided into seven categories of stompbox effects (pedal), amplifiers (amp), distortions/overdrives (drive), speaker cabinets (cabinet), modulation, delay and reverb effects. Together with the Noise Reduction, this means that you can use up to eight effects simultaneously! Plus, you can also use the expression pedal to add patches and to adjust the volume for each preset. Editing effects can be done easily as well, with just two knobs. Finally, the StompLab IIB offers 20 memory slots for saving your own sound creations!
