The Boss ME-20B is a powerful multi-effect processor for live applications. It's easy to use and sturdy enough to handle tough circumstances on the road. Featuring effects like overdrive, distortion, delay, chorus, phaser, flanger, tremolo and rotary, the ME-20B is a remarkably versatile device. Naturally, EQ and compression are also at your disposal to buff up your dry signal.

Characteristics of the ME-20B

The ME20B's compact and sturdy housing is made of metal, and offers a well-organised overview of all controls and features. Despite its moderate size, the effects processor is equipped with an expression/volume pedal. Six AA batteries (or an optional 9V adapter) are all you need to power the Boss ME-20B.

The effects of the ME-20B can be divided into three main categories: SFX, Comp/Drive and Delay/Mod. The SFX section consists of wah, defretter and octaver, while compressor, overdrive, distortion and synth make up the Comp/Drive selection. In the Delay/Mod section you can find delay, phaser, flanger, chorus and reverb. Additional options of the Boss multi-effect processor are a four-band EQ, a noise suppressor, a tuner and a bass enhancer that optimises your presence. All of these features can easily be adjusted by means of the EZ edit option.
