The Catalinbread Octapussy is essentially an octave-up fuzz in the style of the Octavia, the effects pedal designed for none other than Jimi Hendrix. This pedal is no clone though! A completely new circuit with three silicone transformers and two diodes, designed by Howard Gee, takes the Octapussy to the next level. Start by setting the Gain and Body controls at maximum. If the volume is too loud, use the Attenuation control to scale things back a bit. Next turn the volume control on your guitar back down again to experience a pure, sweet octave-up generator.
