General

Ernie Ball is known for their guitar and bass strings, but this Expression Overdrive shows they clearly know about effects pedals too. This gold-coloured pedal is the solution for anyone who wants total control of their sound, as it allows you to adjust the overdrive just the way you want it. With it, you can seamlessly go from a clean sound or a light crunch to a heavier overdrive and finally reach that high-gain solo sound that gives your signal an extra boost. Naturally, you can use the effect to go from heavy back to to light as well.

Golden opportunity

Ernie Ball has developed a number of volume pedals, but this model falls under the effects pedal category. It features drive, boost and tone controls that allow you to adjust the sound to your liking, and determine how big the difference is when the effect is curbed as opposed to when it's full-throttle. The large foot board and anti-slip material ensures you maintain complete control while using the Expression Overdrive so you can truly rock out. This pedal works great in combination with other overdrive pedals.
