General

The cream of the modulation crop for guitarists and keyboardists alike, the Universal Audio UAFX Flow is a tube-based tremolo effect in a stompbox-style housing. This bright orange box sets you up with three modes: Dharma for that early '60s, fat-and-rich fluctuating sound; 65 for the sound of a 1965 American tube amplifier loaded with an optical tremolo circuit; and Square for the modern pop and R&B-ready square-wave sound of a virtual optical photocell.

All About Authenticity

Based on a mid-sixties American combo amp, the UAFX Flow gives you the rich, warm and complex sound of a tube preamp, which makes the tremolo effects sound clear, three-dimensional and character-packed. Able to effortlessly go from vintage to modern, this true bypass pedal has been finished with a practical Tap Tempo function and volume boost.

Very good sounding tremolo. The three types available are all useable in a playing context. The volume knob is a nice addition allowing to compensate for the drop usually associated with a tremolo pedal.
Took a bit of time to get around the tap tempo mode, as you need to hold the switch a couple of seconds to switch off the effect.
Some people might find the speed range a bit lacking in the high rates, you cannot go to the speed where the tremolo sounds like a ring modulator. Not a problem for me.
On the whole a solid pedal with a very musical sound.
