General
The MF-103 features the same 12-stage phaser technology that could be found in vintage Moog modular synthesizers. You can use this effect for your guitar or bass guitar, but it can also be applied to samples and synths.
The MF-103 offers two modular functions: a 6 or 12-stage phaser with resonance control and an LFO with a wide range. Among the 12-stage phaser's control parameters are resonance, LFO rate and LFO amount. A number of large knobs on the front panel of the MF-103 allow you to adjust the parameters and to choose between the 6 or 12-stage phaser.
The MF-103 12-stage phaser owes its name to its 12 phase shifting circuits. Set to 6-stage mode, the frequency response has three dips, while the 12-stage mode offers six. As such, the two modes produce different types of sound and also affect the depth of the phaser effect.
The MF-103 features various 1/4-inch jack audio inputs and outputs and a rugged construction with hardwood side panels, which make it ideal for both studio and stage applications.
