If you've been busy wondering if the singular sound of Dick Dale, The Edge from U2 and the very best of Nashville Country can be stuffed into the bowls of one effects pedal, here's the answer: The Keely Super Mod Workstation. This modulation stompbox provides no less than 16 different possible sounds divided into flavours like reverb, tremolo, delay, phaser and everything in between. Each sound can be assigned to one of two banks for quick switching between something like a nonchalant reverb and a super spacey Van Halen-style phaser.

Infinite Variation

While most Keeley creations are fairly easy to use, the Super Mod Workstation has a pretty daunting face, crammed with controls. But don't panic! Keeley have been thoughtful enough to print a clear explanatory grid on the backside of the housing that helpfully corresponds to each row of controls. Once you have them down, you have a full experimental tool kit, all boxed up in a tight housing fitted with extra stereo inputs for a stereo or mono set up. The Super Mod is a highly comprehensive and wide-ranging little adventure of a stompbox.
