General
The Supa-Trem Jr actually follows-up on the highly-acclaimed Fulltone ST-1, but it's been polished up with a few power-ups to take things a few steps further, and then housed in a slimmed down case to make it more pedalboard-friendly. Warm up your tone with the 100% analogue tremolo shaped by the JFET preamp while playing around with an endlessly useful digital oscillator. This oscillator is not only capable of carving out languid, uber-slow fluctuations, but super-fast, cutting stutters, all backed up by superior, Fulltone-grade tremolo sound. Meanwhile, the true bypass circuit ensures clean and uncoloured signal whenever the Supa-Trem Jr is toggled off.
The Supa-Trem Jr: Three Waveforms, a Clean Boost, Tap Tempo, and More
As with the original, the source of the insanely high quality of sound is a photocell, and to improve just a little on perfection, the Junior edition provides the choice of three different tremolos. Besides the classic sine, you can flip into a warble for a familiar Leslie/Univibe style sound, or switch to squarewave to completely chop up the signal. The step speed can be set in real-time using the tap-tempo footswitch, and by holding the switch down for 3 or 4 seconds, a high-speed tempo will be brutally cut in half, and a low speed is dramatically and suddenly doubled. By pushing the Mix pot all the way back, you can even use the Supa-Trem as a clean boost, and if you prefer your rig to be neatly arranged in a rack, then an external, non-latching footswitch can be hooked up.
