The TC Electronic Magus Pro chews up your guitar signal with classic high-gain distortion via a full analogue, true bypass circuit that offers three different flavours of gain. The circuit has been specifically developed to recreate the slow slew rate of an LM308 op-amp, and besides full and detailed control over the gain and volume, you get access to a filter so that the top-end-bite can be tweaked according to your tonal preference. All of this has been wrapped up in a tight and compact yet durable housing with pedalboard-space-saving top-fitted jack ports.

The Magus Pro: Three Distortion Flavours

Flip the mini-switch on the control panel to toggle through the three differently flavouring distortions this stompbox has to offer. In first position is Classic, delivering a punchy mid-range and tight basses. Next, the Fat mode lays down an extra thick bass boost and does some special things with the upper-mids to shape the ultimate rock-tone. And finally, the Turbo mode activates the LED clipping diodes and frees up increased headroom alongside extra output.
