The skilfully crafted Mesa Boogie Throttle Box provides a warm, aggressive distortion that is suited for various rock and metal genres. Use the gain knob and switch to create sounds from classic rock to modern high-gain.

The expansive Throttle Box

The hand-built and extensively adjustable distortion stomp box is a welcome addition to both raw blues and ultra-modern metal. You can control the clarity with the tone knob and use the Mid cut to reduce the mids. Thanks to Mid-cut, you can create Mesa Boogie's famous equalizer V curve, which is used for tighter, rougher guitar playing. You can even more accurately adjust the sound with the internal EQ boost switch.

Mesa Boogie Throttle Box pedal de distorsión

Sinds bijna een week in gebruik en doet wat ik er van verwacht. Veel gain. Lekker gedefinieerd. Om nou te zeggen dat elke versterker er automatisch een recifier van wordt... Nee. Maar die behoefte had ik ook helemaal niet. De mid cut is bijzonder effectief en maakt het pedaal heel flexibel. Ook op de low gain instellingen klinkt ie erg goed. Al heb ik daar al een OCD voor.
Dan nog iets over de stevigheid. Echt een van de meest robuuste pedalen die ik in tijden gezien heb. Overtreft Fulltone met gemak. Een blik op de binnenkant laat zien dat de afwerking 'onder de kap' ook erg goed is.

Kortom, ben er erg blij mee.
