The J.Rockett Allan Holdsworth Overdrive/Boost pedal is a highly-versatile signature stompbox that offers plenty of possibilities thanks to its switches and various potentiometers. It's not just for Allan Holdsworth fans or fusion guitarists either: rock guitarists will love the sounds this pedal produces too. As well as giving you a mild overdrive, it's great for making your solos really stand out.

Allan Holdsworth Overdrive/Boost

The level of overdrive can be controlled using the gain and volume potentiometers and there are bass and treble controls too. The boost function can be used with or without the overdrive and it's perfect for pushing your tube amplifier over the edge. There's a 3-way switch in the boost section that gives you three different boost options: F for full, C for clean and T for treble. You can also further emphasise the higher or lower frequencies using the dedicated switch.

These experienced session musicians weren't satisfied with the effects pedals available at the time so they decided to make their own.
