General
The SFT is a classic in the Catalinbread lineup. This updated version offers the same overdrive sound, but now includes a Stones/Stoner switch that allows you to enjoy a wide range of dynamics. In Stones mode, the effects pedal reacts accurately to the dynamics in your playing, and offers you a wide gain range, from sparkling cleans to an Ampeg-style distortion. Stoner mode, meanwhile, really kicks the door down, opening up three tiers of gain to the max, giving you a raw, face-melting tone that is sure to impress.
SFT: versatile overdrive
When Catalinbread started developing the SFT, they originally had the ultimate overdrive pedal for bass guitars in mind. Surprisingly enough, their creation also appeared to work just perfectly for electric gutiars. From '60s and '70s-style to nu-metal, thanks to the Ampeg-based overdrive sound, the Catalinbread SFT is highly versatile with the Stones mode being a nod to the sound of the Rolling Stones' 'Get Yer Ya Ya's Out!' live album. You can adjust the treble and bass just the way you want using a Baxandall equalizer.
