General
Now you can get more than 40 years of British Rock sound in one pedal, with the Bogner La Grange overdrive. Although it was originally intended to emulate legendary British plexi amps from the '60s, Reinhold saw more potential. The result was really something else. It offers the ability to adjust the gain and Channel Blend functions that we know and love from the classic Plexi amps, but then with an external expression pedal.
What's in a name?
Bogner didn't name the pedal after the ZZ top song, 'La Grange', for nothing! Just like the rest of the Tres Hombres album, it's also known for that wonderful, swampy Marshall Plexi sound. This pedal will have you feeling like you're in Texas in no time, and with the De Bogner La Grange, you know you won't be trekking through the desert on a one-trick pony.
Brown Sound
If you're looking for the heavier should of souped up British amps from the '70s, then you're in the right place. The La Grange is also excellent for modern British High gain—even if you want to let loose with that classic Variac Brown sound. In short, all of the best British rock sounds from the last 40 years are only a couple of clicks of the mouse away.
