General

To get more hands-free control over your BluGuitar AMP1, the REMOTE1 footswitch offers two modes: standard, Direct-Access Mode' and Preset mode. Here, you get a second switchable and adjustable master volume alongside adjustable powersoak to drive the Nanotube harder at lower volumes. In standard mode, the controller can be used to remotely flip through the clean, vintage, classic, and modern channels provided by your AMP1, as well as to add some boost, a nice layer of reverb or to kick in the effects loop.

Standard Switching or Playing with Presets

So, while standard mode gives you direct access to the features of your amp, Preset mode offers up to four banks of nine presets that can be set at different volume levels. The REMOTE1 is passively hooked up to your AMP1 with a standard jack cable without the need for a power supply, and a MIDI port is provided so it can be used with external MIDI equipment.
