The Friedman Sir-Compre pedal serves up the much-loved and sought-after round, musical and organic sound of optical compression as well as high-quality, connoisseur-grade performance - and an extra overdrive section on the side. Pull the overdrive all the way from extreme-clean to semi-overdriven warmth with just the right amount of lush sustain via the Gain pot, set the compression level and the output level via the self-explanatory Comp and Vol pots before tweaking the tone via the Treble pot and polishing everything up with the Tight pot. Simple, elegant and highly effective.
