With the White Finger, Electro Harmonix offers compression with a nicely rounded sound and plenty of sustain, without sacrificing any of the original tone.

Clean

Thanks to the use of analogue passive electronics - the photo cell in particular - the White Finger won’t distort your sound. If you’re using a digital pedal you’ll usually suffer from a little distortion, as such a pedal adds an electronic signature to the incoming signal. The White Finger, however, is fully clean and adds only the effects you want it to. With this pedal, Electro Harmonix gives you full control over your sound!

How does the Electro Harmonix White Finger work?

The compress knob determines the level of compression. The sensitivity knob adds character to the compression, lending it a dramatic, more percussive tone. With the pre gain knob you can adjust the amount of signal fed to the attenuator - the electronic component of the pedal that does the actual compressing. The output level of the signal can be controlled using the post gain knob.

With the squash switch, it’s possible to choose between serious compression and a less processed sound. The lamp/LED knob ensures a quicker or slower attack.
