General
Don't be fooled by the EarthQuaker Arrows V2 straight-up control panel. While it may look simple, there's practically no limit to this boost/cut preamp pedal's potential. The pedal is designed to cut your signal when the Level pot is set anywhere up to the 12 o'clock position, but push it beyond and you'll start actively boosting your guitar signal, enhancing the mid-range, tightening up the bass and adding a little extra sparkle to the trebles. Regardless of how big or small your set-up is, the second-generation EarthQuaker Arrows will no doubt find a way to fit in and team up with the rest of your other gear to shape impacting tone.

Earthquaker Devices
The American company Earthquaker Devices was founded in 2004 by accident. When a potentiometer on founder and guitarist Jamie Stillman's favourite overdrive pedal broke, he decided to repair it himself. When he opened the pedal, he found the circuitry a lot easier to understand than he expected and it wasn't long before he made his first pedal. Stillman launched Earthquaker Devices in 2005, while he worked as tour manager for the Black Keys (from 2004 to 2010). The brand has since grown steadily in size and popularity and are now known for their affordable, handwired boutique-style pedals that are built by hand in Akron, Ohio.
