Of course you need to keep your guitar in tune but no one wants to hear the sad awkward sound of you finishing the job. Like most tuning stompboxes, the slimline Valeton Coral Chromatic Tuner mutes your amplified sound as soon as it's kicked into action and, since it's supported by a true bypass circuit, you're original guitar tone is faithfully maintained whether this little pedal is on or off. Via a generously sized LED screen, the Coral clearly shows you whether the string played is sharp, flat or perfect while the conveniently compact aluminium housing shouldn't struggle to find a space on your pedalboard. This stage tuner operates happily when connected to a standard 9V power supply.
While a relatively new name on the vast and often overwhelming scene of effects pedals, Valeton have actually been around a lot longer than you'd think. Having acted as a kind of ghost-writer by building pedals for other brands for decades now, Valeton finally complement themselves with their very own self-developed line of stompboxes. Now, you can get your hands on a bone fide Valeton overdrive, distortion, modulation, delay or compression pedal as well as the stable Coral tuner and the highly flexible multi-effects processor, the VES-1 Dapper. You'll find that each pedal has a couple of essential features in common, including solid and durable build-quality, great sound and incredibly friendly price-tags.
