General
Aquilar has designed the TLC Compressor to give bassists flexible harmonic control over the expression of your playing dynamics. It's a valuable tool for both stage and studio use and since the stompbox is equipped with Aquilar's patented Trans Linear Control circuit, it offers huge performance while fitted inside a bite-size housing.
The Aguilar TLC Compressor: Studio Gear Disguised as a Stompbox
Just four knobs are needed to control the TLC Compressor's key functions and with the help of a wide range of attack times, variable threshold settings and slope levels, you can dial in the perfect bass sound in mere minutes. This compact bass guitar compressor puts the dynamic range of expensive studio-grade compressors right at your feet and can be powered by a 9V battery or a universal 9V adapter (both not included).
Reworked and Even Smaller Housing
Somehow, Aguilar have managed to squeeze the dimensions of this pedal by reducing the edges (see video). Since the edges have been shortened, right-angled jacks can be used with ease and no matter the format. The base of the casing has also been flattened so that adding this to a pedalboard is made a more simple matter.
