The Copperhead Series remains one of The Realist's most popular ranges of banjo pickups. Loaded with a passive ceramic piezo pickup, this particular RLSTBN01 Copperhead model is easy to mount and ready to offer world-renowned sound. Since it's passive, the pickup won't affect your acoustic foundation sound and can be simply removed without damaging your instrument. Even though it forcefully amplifies the volume, the RLSTBN01 Copperhead offers an extremely accurate representation of the original timbre of any banjo it's fitted to. This reliable banjo pickup packs tons of dynamics, shapes clean, transparent tone and keeps noise and interference at bay, while the industry-standard jack input is compatible with most amplifiers and PA systems.

Voor een optreden moest ik snel mijn banjo kunnen versterken.
Deze pickup is daar perfect voor, de installatie is ongelooflijk simpel eigenlijk plug en play.
Geluids kwaliteit is meer dan voldoende zeker voor dit geld. Voor een opname zou ik altijd een dure microfoon gebruiken maar zeker als je live ook nog wat moet bewegen op het podium is dit perfect.
De boventonen en klank karakteristieken van een banjo worden goed in tact gehouden.
Daar het een passieve pickup betreft gebruik ik wel een preamp.
Ik wil hier ook graag even vermelden dat ik uitstekend geholpen ben door Bax-shop.
Er wordt door mijn muziekvrienden wel eens licht denigrerend gedaan over de service en het commerciële karakter van de zaak maar dat is dus zeker niet mijn ervaring.
