Acus Phantasma Pickup System for Classical and Steel-String Acoustic Guitars

A complete system for converting a standard acoustic or classical guitar into an electro-acoustic model, the Acus Phantasma includes a microphone, a piezo pickup and a preamp unit. Since the controls don't need to be installed by cutting a hole in the side of the body, this system can be fitted with minor modifications and, once installed, the chance of feedback is kept to an absolute minimum. This is made possible by the frequency balance between the pickup and the microphone, where the more sensitive microphone frequencies are captured by the piezo and vice versa. The Class-A preamp comes in a pedal-style box fitted with a gain control for both the microphone and piezo pickup, an LPF control for the pickup and a HPF control for the microphone as well as a master volume control for dialling in your custom amplified sound, and everything is powered by a 9V battery or a power supply (not included).
