AKG's 7-piece Drum Set Concert I microphone set provides all you need to quickly and easily set up your drum kit for top-quality amplification or recording. It consists of a D112 MKII, four D40s and two C430 condenser mics. In total, you get five dynamic mics and two condenser mics that have been designed to work perfectly with one another on the stage or in the studio. Each mic has a high maximum sound pressure level (SPL) for a consistent sound without distortion.
AKG Drum Set Concert I: robust and comprehensive
Microphones for recording drums live need to be extremely robust and durable enough to transport safely. That's why all of the mics in the Drum Set Concert I have an extremely rugged metal housing and come in a sturdy aluminium case. The set includes the popular D112 MKII bass drum mic, while four D40 mics complete with handy clips are responsible for the toms and the snare drum. The clips allow you to easily fasten the mics to the rims of the drums. For the overheads, two P430 microphones are also included and come with clips as well.
Versatile
As we've already mentioned, these microphones are specially designed for amplifying and/or recording drums. They are versatile enough, however. to be used for other purposes too. The D112 MKII, for instance, can be used with bass guitars or deeper brass instruments like a trombone. Clearly, this set can do it all! While the AKG Drum Set Concert I has been put together with live use in mind, it's just as suitable for use in a studio. The included accessories make it quick and easy to set up too.
