Shure's advanced GLX-D24 digital handheld system has everything it takes to flawlessly transmit your vocals and speech. It consists of a GLX-D4 receiver and a GLX-D2 handheld transmitter, equipped with a Beta58A microphone capsule. The transmitter has a powerful lithium-ion battery that allows you to perform for up to sixteen consecutive hours. Once it runs out of juice, it only needs a short, 15-minute charging session to last for another hour and a half. This set is easy to work with, and delivers a stable signal thanks to its LINKFREQ functionality.

Shure GLX-D2 + SM58 = A Winning Team

The Shure GLX-D2 transmitter uses the 2.4GHz band to communicate with your receiver, so the signal won't suffer from (radio) interference. This band is available for license-free use all over the world, which is not something you can say for analogue systems. The transmitter's head is equipped with a Shure SM 58 microphone capsule. If you're looking for a clear, feedback-proof way of amplifying live vocals, the SM58 is basically the go-to mic, and has been for years. In short, this transmitter microphone delivers crystal-clear sound and a reliable signal.

Shure GLX-D4

If you have a transmitter, naturally you also need a receiver. This affordable digital set provides you with a Shure GLX-D4, which features a good deal of modern technology. Take the LINKFREQ function, for instance, which automatically (and continuously) searches for an available frequency. Should any interference occur during your show, it will make real-time adjustments, ensuring an optimal signal at all times. A clear display shows you the frequency that's being used, as well as the remaining battery life of the handheld transmitter. If you like, the GLX-D4 even allows you to control the SM58's gain.

Met spijt hebben we afscheid moeten nemen van onze bestaande installatie ivm de frequentie-wijziging in 2016. Maar afgelopen week deze nieuwe draadloze microfoon voor de eerste keer getest in volle zaal en we zijn echt onder de indruk. Veel zuiverder, helderder, warmer dan wat we voordien hadden. Dankjewel ook voor het advies dat we krijgen bij het maken van een keuze. Super! (en zoals steeds: heel snelle levering) Thanks!

Allereerst complimenten weer voor Bax-Shop, na telefonisch advies gekozen voor twee stuks van deze microfoon in de 2.4GHz. band.

Net als alle eerdere bestellingen had ik de producten de dag erna in huis, keurig verpakt in een goed beschermde grote doos. Kan niet anders zeggen: Nog nooit teleurgesteld in de producten of levering.

Met deze oplossing in de toekomst geen problemen doordat de overheid frequenties verkoopt aan mobiele operators. De 2.4GHz band is namelijk wereldwijd beschikbaar voor vrij gebruik. Was natuurlijk wel benieuwd naar de performance in samenspraak met aanwezige 2.4GHz wifi netwerken, maar dat gaat prima. De microfoons hebben geen last van Wifi en vice versa. Bereik getest, in elk geval 20m, verder ben ik nog niet gegaan. Als je de ontvangers bij het podium in de buurt hebt, werkt het sowieso. Erg blij met de ingebouwde accu's die je in de ontvangers kunt opladen. Op een geladen accu kun je zo'n 12 uur werken, en dat is ruim voldoende. De oude vertrouwde SM58 kop, hoef ik weinig over te vertellen.

Kortom, niet de goedkoopste oplossing, maar voor mij wel de beste. Geen gedoe meer met AA batterijen wisselen en nooit meer voor een optreden er achter komen dat je door je batterijen heen bent en nog even langs een winkel moet...
