When thinking about wireless systems, the name Sennheiser undoubtedly pops into your head. This German manufacturer has been producing systems that excel in durability, reliability and sound quality for years. The Sennheiser XSW 52 system is no different. It consists of a headset microphone, beltpack transmitter and receiver. The system is a part of the affordable XS Wireless series, which is renowned for its simple controls. This UK version operates on a frequency band between 606 and 630 MHz and is therefore well suited for use in the United Kingdom.

The headset of the Sennheiser XSW 52 GB can be perfectly adjusted to the size of your head thanks to the adjustable headband. Once the headband is well adjusted, the headset will stay on even during your wildest performances. The same goes for the lockable connector on the bodypack. The headset microphone has a cardioid pickup pattern and a condenser electret capsule. This means that it will register your voice in a highly directional and detailed way and will ignore ambient noise.
Easy to set up!
The bodypack transmitter is equipped with a mute button, so that the speaker can decide whether or not he or she is being amplified at any particular moment. Setting this set up is not hard at all. A suitable frequency is found automatically. The bodypack is powered by 2 AA batteries, this equals 10 hours of continuous use of the microphone. The other settings on the XSW 52 GB have also been kept simple and intuitive by Sennheiser.
