The Concert 99 Earset by Samson is a high-performance UHF wireless earset system with selectable frequencies. It can easily be set up. The system features a user-friendly, dynamic user-interface, is highly durable and allows for exceptional audio quality - making it the ultimate headset for presenters, lecturers, preachers and fitness instructors. Really anyone who is looking for a reliable wireless system will enjoy the Concert 99 Earset.

Features - receiver

The CR99 wireless receiver that's a part of the system has a range of 90 metres, it's housing is fully metal and it can be rack-mounted. Furthermore, a backlit LCD screen gives you all the information that you need about the battery life, operating channel and audio levels. It's ideal for use in the dark. A total of 96 channels are available to the CR99, which can support up to sixteen systems simultaneously. This number is region-dependent, however.

Features - transmitter

The CB99 Beltpack transmitter uses the Samson SE10 Earset microphone with miniature condenser capsule. It operates for eight hours on two AA batteries and meets the demands of professional performers.

Samson Concert 99 Earset sistema sin cables

De samson concert earset is een prima draadloze microfoon voor live oplossingen. Hij is gemakkelijk aan te zetten, klinkt prima, zit comfortabel, pikt niet veel bijgeluiden op.

Voor opnames is hij minder geschikt. Bij hoge SPL vervormt de microfoon hinderlijk (als je bijvoorbeeld naast de snare gaat staan), er is een presence boost die live heel fijn is maar voor studio minder geschikt, en door het switchen met de true diversity krijg je variaties in het ruis niveau.

Nu is het natuurlijk ook niet bedoeld als studio-mic, maar toch, als je bijv. een zingende gitarist hebt en je wilt wat meer scheiding tussen vox en gitaar zou je dit kunnen overwegen. Toch, ik zou aanraden naar een andere oplossing te kijken.
