General
The d:Vote 4099U universal clip microphone by DPA is suited for a wide range of instruments. It's been specifically designed for oblong instruments with an unusual shape, like hobos, clarinets, bassoons and flutes. As it uses a fastening system with a hook and loop pull ring, you'll be able to attach it as fast as you put on your watch. Thanks to a 14cm gooseneck, the microphone is highly flexible - you can bend it into all directions, so that it will never get in the way, making the DPA d:vote 4099U universal clip microphone an especially practical unit for audio recordings with your instrument.
Microphone
The microphone at the end of the 14cm gooseneck is a super-cardioid one with a condenser capsule. It has a frequency range of 80 to 20,000 Hz, a maximum SPL of 142 dB and a dynamic range of 100 dB, so that you'll be able to pick up any audible sound from your instrument! A 1.8m cable runs from the mic to your recording gear, like the accessory XLR adapter, for instance. The latter is small enough to clip to your belt, so that you can lead the signal via an XLR cable.
