The Audix ADX-20iP instrument condenser mic comes complete with a phantom power supply, carry bag, cable, and microphone clips. This microphone is able to withstand the sound pressure produced by saxophones and other wind instruments. Backed up by a cardioid pickup pattern, the ADX-20iP is able to dodge feedback and maintain pure audio registration. The high maximum sound pressure that the small diaphragm capsule is able to handle also means that this mic is able to record an audio source at close range. And since the included clip can be used to mount it to the bell of a brass or wind instrument, it can be used to do exactly what it was designed for with ease. For the most accurate and natural feeling sound production, we recommend pointing the mic towards the bell rather than into it, to ensure outstanding audio performance whether on the studio or stage.
