The AT4060a tube microphone is an old friend in Audio Technica's assortment. It was released in the late '90s and due to popular demand it has been rereleased. A warm sound and incredible dynamic range ensure that every nuance of your voice or instrument is reliably recorded. The AT4060a can handle an impressive sound pressure, especially for a tube microphone, and therefore can also be used it for loud audio sources like guitar amplifiers, percussion and wind instruments.

Audio Technica's AT4060a sounds better than many, more expensive competitors and is highly durable. It's equipped with a very thin and artificially aged 'gold-sputtered' diaphragm. The Sovtek 6922 tubes have been hand-selected and artificially aged to ensure a consistent sound. Also, the power supply has been improved, resulting in a great tube microphone with very low self-noise and a wonderful vintage tube sound.
