What's more, the M 160 ensures a warm sound when used in the studio that is ideal for recording saxophone, violin, piano and guitar, especially when combined with the M130 for stereo recordings in MS technology. The M 160 offers a frequency response of 30 to 14,000 Hz and an attenuation of 25 dB at 110 degrees.
Beyerdynamic Ribbon Microphones
Beyerdynamic is one of the few manufacturers today that make ribbon microphones with remarkable directional characteristics that are extremely suitable for use for live performances. They can handle an extremely high sound pressure level without clipping or distorting and sound warmer and more delicate than a condenser mic. Beyerdynamic's ribbon microphones are therefore an ideal choice for vocals, strings, wind instruments, pianos, guitars, hi-hats and toms.
