The Boya BY-BM3031 supercardioid shotgun microphone has been designed to provide your camera's audio with a hefty upgrade, and once mounted, you'll barely notice that this ultra-lightweight mic is even there. To ensure the best possible performance, it comes fitted with a three-level gain switch that can be toggled between a +20dB gain boost, 0dB unity gain, and a -10dB setting to counter distortion when dealing with louder environments and sound sources, while another practical feature is the low cut filter that prevents any low-end build up anywhere below the 80Hz mark and hindering the recording. Hook it via a standard 3.5mm mini-jack to your camera, audio recorder, or equipment of choice, and monitor the audio in real-time using the built-in headphone output. The neat Boya BY-BM3031 microphone operates for up to 120 hours on just two AA batteries.
