The hand-selected omnidirectional ST2006A pair of condenser microphones by DPA are ideal for orchestras and wind instruments and offer an accurate representation of the audio source. In fact, this set bridges the gap between the d:dicate and the d:screet series by DPA in that they combine the best qualities of each series , resulting in extremely good audio and a flexible, discreet design. The two opposing miniature capsules are positioned in a double diaphragm, single capsule design. This means you've got all the advantages of small capsules with the low self-noise levels of a large-diaphragm mic.

Flexible microphones

The d:dicate 2006A double-diaphragm omnidirectional microphones are part of DPA's flexible d:dicate range, which combines the MMC2006 capsule with the MMP-A preamp. Any audiophile is sure to appreciate the resulting low distortion levels and accurate representation. It's possible to change the 2006A microphone into a new configuration at any time if you own the d:facto and another d:dicate capsule or a preamp, for instance.
