The MXR-2 is equipped with a standard crossfader that's sufficient for DJs who aren't into intensive scratching. It's also prepared for an Innofader, should you want to install one. Other than that, the MXR-2 has a pretty straightforward layout with gain and a 3-band EQ on the channel faders, and VU meters for each channel as well as the master. Its robust metal housing can handle the rough stuff on the road and protects the internal components while being transported from gig to gig or during intensive use. The built-in USB audio interface makes it suitable for use with a digital DJ setup like tabletop players, for instance.

Extra digital features

A DSP chip makes the MXR-2's built-in effects possible, which can be read on the display. Using the FX parameter knob, you can adjust these effects to perfection; there's even a BPM function for syncing them to an existing beat. The built-in interface has a low latency and works with a 24-bit, 96-khz signal conversion for great sound quality!
