The P5R by Led Lenser is like the P5 LED torch, with one notable difference: the R indicates that it's rechargeable. Very practical! The P5R is a very rugged, compact torch with a splashproof housing and a matte coating for improved grip. The light comes from behind a re-calibrated lens, and is emitted by a super bright Cree LED module with a red-transparent perforated ring around it. At 77 grams, this is a very light torch, which means it is ideal for numerous occasions, like laying cables in dark corners.

Rechargeable Power Source

The rechargeable power source of the Led Lenser P5R is a lithium-ion battery, that can harness enough energy to let the LED shine for three to fifteen hours (depending on whether you use the high or the low power setting). Moreover, this torch produces a hefty 420 Lumens for a range of 240 metres. Additionally, you can quickly and easily adjust the beam from wide to narrow with a single movement of your finger, thanks to the speed focus system. The battery can easily be charged with the included adapter, charger cable and charger. Simply place the torch in the charger, connect it to the adapter and connect the charging cable to a USB port.

Voorlopig zeer tevreden van; een grote lichtopbrengst voor zo'n klein ding.
Drie modes: zeer fel licht, minder fel licht (voor binnenwerk bv) en felle strobo (voor langere batterijduur).
De lichtstraal kan makkelijk wijder of smaller worden gezet.
Het magnetisch opladen is handig, maar hou er rekening mee dat de batterij "proprietary" is en een nieuwe dus waarschijnlijk enkel bij de fabrikant zelf kan worden besteld.

Een zeer sterke en degelijke zaklamp.
Ik heb jaren de P7 gehad, maar ben zoveel tevredener van de P5.2R.
Alleen al het gedoe van de batterijen die er niet meer is, is een zaligheid.
In het begin had ik het wat moeilijk met de grote, omdat de 5 toch een stuk kleiner is dan de 7. Maar op den duur raak je er aan gewoon. Nu vind ik het zelfs een groot pluspunt, ik hang mijn lampen namelijk altijd aan mijn riem, het verschil in gewicht en grootte is heel groot.
Qua lichtopbrengst vind ik niet dat ik heb moeten inboeten. Nu kwam ik wel van de P7 en niet van de P7.2.
Kortom, top zaklamp, voor een degelijke prijs!
