Apollo Duo: two SHARC DSP processors
Universal Audio's plugins are known for their natural sound and accurate emulation of analogue studio classics. This sound card comes with the 'Analog Classics' plugins, and also supports the other plugins you can download from uaudio.com. To do this, you need to purchase the separately-available Thunderbolt expansion card. During recording, you can use them in real time (with a latency of under two milliseconds) thanks to two built-in SHARC DSP processors. Using the plugins in your DAW is an option too.
Firewire and optional Thunderbolt
The Apollo Duo audio interface is hooked up to your PC or Mac by means of a FireWire-800 connection. To ensure unparalleled speed and low latency, a Thunderbolt expansion card is included. Are you looking for an audio interface that will serve you well in your studio? With the Apollo Duo, Universal Audio truly delivers!
