General
The solid, slimline and fuss-free Tascam US-1x2HR USB audio interface supplies a single instrument input and a single XLR microphone input, making it the ideal recording tool for writers, musicians and podcasters working at home. This interface even features a handy loop-back function and supports Open Broadcaster Software (OBS Studio), fully setting it up for podcast and live-streaming setups. Multifunctional, this model can also be hooked up to a set of speakers to play back your music library in high-resolution.
Low Latency Recording + High-End Audio Quality
Via the Tascam US-1x2HR, you're able to record in 24-bit/192kHz resolution and, when working with a Windows computer, the buffer setting can be set as low as 4 samples. At the moment of writing, this is the lowest buffer setting available and literally translates into absolute-zero latency - a level of performance made possible by the USB-C connection. An integrated high-grade microphone preamp ensures that the sound of every recording is ultra-clear and ultra-defined and also features a 48 Volt phantom power switch so condenser microphone are fully supported as well as passive microphones. Add on the fat pack of software that comes included and you're able to start work straight out of the box.
The Ideal Platform for Portable Recording
Since this interface is compatible with iOS, using the included copy of Cubase LE, you can even record via the iPhone or iPad and lay down ideas on the fly. With this compact interface, you can basically work anywhere, whether you're indoors recording vocals and instruments or outdoors capturing birdsong. Even though this interface is also incredibly lightweight, it's been designed in such a way that it stays firmly in place when you swap out cables and tweak levels, while the honeycomb style side brackets complete a tight look and place the controls at the ideal working angle.

Wat zijn de gevolgen? Heb je meerdere drivers voor geluid, bijvoorbeeld voor een gaming headset, dan klapt het geluid er constant uit. Je moet constant de in en output devices manueel veranderen om het weer aan de praat te krijgen, vaak werkt de DAC pas weer nadat je de USB kabel eruit haalt.

Deze interface sluit je aan en hij doet het meteen (icm Macbook Pro en Logic Pro X). Bijgeleverde usb kabel (USB- naar USB-C) is nodig omdat de interface een USB-C ingang heeft.
Moest even wennen dat de microfoon ingang op input 1 komt en de lijn/instrument op input 2.
Enige nadeel is dat als je computer een tijdje in de slaapstand staat de interface uitschakelt, je moet dan de kabel even losmaken en weer aansluiten om 'm weer aan te zetten. Mijn vorige Tascam interface had daar geen last van.
