General

A smooth and simple two-channel USB mixer and audio interface in one, the Boya BY-AM1 can be used to record and mix audio captured by a connected dynamic or condenser microphone or even an electric or electro-acoustic guitar. Connect it up to your laptop or desktop computer via USB, plug in set of headphones for latency-free monitoring as you record, and plug in a standard XLR microphone cable or 6.3mm jack cable into one of the two side-fitted combo inputs. Since the BY-AM1 comes with built-in phantom power, the interface is fully compatible with active studio condenser microphones as well as passive dynamic microphones, and the housing has also been fitted with a mounting point so it can be secured to a stand for comfortable vocal recording sessions. To complete the pack, Boya has included a USB-A to USB-B cable and a 6.35mm to 3.5mm TRRS jack adapter.

Jarenlang liep ik te klungelen met stekkertjes omzetten van hoofdtelefoon naar speakers. Nu ik de mixer in gebruik heb genomen, hoef ik die handelingen niet meer te doen. Dat is echt handig. De mixer werkt zo uit de doos. Even aansluiten op de usb-poort van de computer en hij doet het. Tenminste bij Windows 11. Hij stoort niet en werkt ook prima samen met mijn KRK's.

Boya BY-AM1 USB Audio Mixer/Interface

Neat little budget interface with good features. Separate output volume controls for speakers and headphones. Very useful for monitoring of edits. Only used 1 mic input so far - good gain control. Needed to download driver, but easily installed and works well with older versions of windows and DAW. Very good for discounted price.
