Alesis AcousticLink: user-friendly recording
The pickup in this kit can be easily mounted on your acoustic guitar by means of soft, padded clamps. Glue is not required and there is no need to drill holes in your precious instrument either. Recording and editing of your musical performance is child's play - you'll quickly find your way around the intuitive structure of the Cubase LE recording software, which is suited for Mac as well as PC. Anyone can work with the Alesis AcousticLink.

Helaas was het product wat minder...
Ik had deze aangeschaft met de hoop om makkelijk m'n gitaar op te nemen zonder al te veel ruis. De eerste keer toen ik het opnam zat er een kleine piep in maar die was daarna al weer weg. Ik was alleen zeer teleurgesteld in het geluid. Het mooie volle akoestische geluid veranderde in een metaal en dof geluid. Ik denk dat het voortaan weer gewoon ga opnemen met mijn microfoon. Het werkt wel redelijk makkelijk ook al moet je wel een schroevendraaier bij de hand hebben om hem telkens erop te zetten wat ook niet altijd even makkelijk gaat. Bovendien laat het toch nog wel kleine sporen achter op je gitaar, maar daar zit ik persoonlijk wat minder mee, want het is maar heel weinig. Het idee is erg leuk maar de kwaliteit is helaas onvoldoende.
