Five decades ago, Yamaha first released their range of FG steel-string Dreadnoughts, which were an instant hit. Now, they have met the demand for a more compact model with the FS line, which includes this FS800 Tinted acoustic steel-string guitar.

Optimal sound

The Tinted version of the FS800 offers the same high-quality features as it counterparts, such as a warm, powerful tone and a solid spruce top. Yamaha have done their best do optimise the series with the new scalloped bracing for better bass and mid-tone projection. The comfortable FS800 models also feature a more slender neck and a fretboard with rolled edges.

Yamaha FS800 T Tinted guitarra western

Straight out of the box, tuned up sounds great.For a low priced, small body guitar this is brilliant with a bright, loud and clean sound.The action was a bit high for me so not being one to go straight for the truss rod I took the saddle out and filed about a sixteenth off the bottom,perfect.I read all the reviews and watched all the you tube videos before buying and have to say they are all right, a great guitar.
