General
The left-handed version of the Ibanez AW54L offers warmth and plenty of depth whether unplugged or amplified and the dreadnought body has a comfortably deep cutaway. Built-in electronics ensure faithful sound transfer whether in the studio or on stage, while the all-mahogany resonance chamber has an open-pore finish to allow the wood and sound to naturally mature with age. This Artwood Series electro-acoustic steel-string offers definition, comfort and balance at a more than attainable price.
The Ibanez AW54LCE-OPN: Cutaway Electric
Since this is the CE version of the AW54L, it comes with a 'Cutaway Electric' body, meaning that it's been shaped with a deep cutaway for access to the upper frets and a larger, deeper resonant chamber for a reliably full, rich and open sound projection.
A Fishman Pickup and Extensive Preamp
The electronics that have been loaded into the AW54L start with the T-bar undersaddle pickup. This accurate pickup registers the sound of both the strings and the body resonance before sending the signal through the fitted Ibanez AEQ210TF preamp. The preamp offers volume control, a two-band equaliser, and a useful phase-function to give you total control over your amplified sound, and to finish, a built-in tuner with LED indicators is included.
