The AVC11 is a Grand Concert acoustic guitar from Ibanez' Artwood Vintage series. It has a solid Caucasian spruce top and a spruce x bracing that have both undergone Ibanez' Thermo Aging process that dries out the wood giving the instrument more volume and an enhanced frequency range. The neck, back and sides are all made of mahogany.

AVC11: dynamics, finish and comfort

This guitar has excellent dynamics and you can clearly hear the difference when you change the intensity of your attack no matter whether you're playing it with your fingers or a plectrum. The semi-gloss finish on the body enhances this guitar's good looks and the same finish on the neck gives you a smooth playing experience. The soft V neck profile also adds to this model's high level of playing comfort as does the 15.75-inch fretboard radius. For optimal transference of the string vibrations to the body, the bridge saddle and string nut are both made of unbleached bone that's been impregnated with oil.
