Going back in time to the golden age of the semi-acoustic, this reissue of the VOX Bobcat V90 semi-hollow electric guitar reads like a love-note to the original Bobcat. The body shaping and design have largely remained unchanged in sixty years, while any of the more modern tweaks only serve to refine the playability. So, the neck has been set into the maple body, not only to boost resonance but ease reach to the highest frets, while a mounted Tune-O-Matic bridge improves stability.

Feedback Reduction

Since working with a semi-hollow guitar always means feedback, VOX has installed a lightweight spruce centre-block inside the resonance chamber to efficiently counter any feedback issues and boost the sustain all at the same time. Jacked in, the sound of the VOX Bobcat V90 is voiced by a classic pair of soapbar pickups fitted with S-style magnetic poles to ensure sweet punch and excellent tonal clarity, which is exactly what sets the V90 apart from other semi-hollow models. To finish, a set of Grover machine heads don't just improve vibrational transfer but bring the tuning stability fully up-to-date.
