General
Höfner's extremely thin hollow bodies are back. This light-blue Verythin Single Cutaway is a semi-acoustic guitar modelled after the famous Hofner 1960 Verithin One of this model's most notable features is its extremely thin (32 mm!) hollow body. Naturally classic details - like the two '50s-style crescent sound holes, Hofner Diamond pickups and classic white knobs with chrome top - are still present. This guitar comes with a luxury case.
The Hofner Verythin Single Cutaway's construction
The Hofner Verythin Single Cutaway has a maple body with a spruce top. Both the front and the back are beautifully arched. Inside is a spruce centre block that ensures longer sustain and less feedback at higher volumes. The neck is also made of maple and supports a 22-fret maple fretboard. It is this combination of wood types and construction that gives the Hofner Verythin a surprisingly clear, loud sound.
Pickups and hardware
This electric guitar is equipped with two of Hofner's famous Diamond pickups. They are mini humbuckers that produce a sound that's between that of a humbucker and a single coil. Each pickup has its own volume and tone control. The hardware of the Verythin Single Cutaway consists of a Bigsby-licensed vibrato tailpiece that keeps your guitar in tune excellently with a little help of the solid tuners and Tune-O-Matic bridge with roller saddles.
