If you're more familiar with the neck of a Strat than an acoustic guitar, Fender's Redondo Player offers a smooth and affordable transition, a unique 70s-style look, and a rich acoustic foundation sound. Straight out of the California Series, this electro-acoustic, steel-string model has a trend-bucking paint-job and a C-profile maple neck, walnut fretboard and a Strat headstock for a supple electric-guitar-style playing feel.

The Redondo Player: Transparent, Balanced and Full Sound

The mahogany dreadnought body has been topped with solid spruce to shape a full and detailed sound, while a GraphTech-made NuBone bridge saddle and string nut guarantee excellent overall balance by keeping the high-end present and the low-end open. To amplify the sound of the Redondo Player with consistent accuracy and transparency, Fender have fitted a Fishman preamp and tone controls to dial in the sound of the under-saddle piezo pickup.
