The Fender Malibu Player is an attractively-priced electro-acoustic steel-string parlour-style guitar. It's easy to play thanks to its compact size with a shorter 24.1-inch scale length and a comfortable C neck profile with a 15.75-inch fretboard radius.

Malibu Player: wood types and sound

This California series model has back and sides made of mahogany and a solid spruce top to ensure a sound with sufficient volume, definition and dynamics. The string nut and bridge saddle are both made of GraphTech NuBone and add extra overtones. To keep the same well-balanced sound when amplified, the Fender Malibu Player is equipped with a piezo pickup and a preamplifier by the renowned Fishman brand.
