Fender's FSR CD-140SCE Satin is an electro-acoustic Dreadnought guitar based on one of Fender's most successful models. It has a satin-gloss finish that not only looks good, it makes this model silky smooth to play too. It's been fitted with a string nut and bridge saddles made of GraphTech NuBone to enhance its tuning stability and intonation, which are both excellent. In short, this is a well-constructed electro-acoustic by Fender that is extremely good value for money. This special edition has a lovely 3-Tone Sunburst finish.

FSR CD-140SCE Satin: rich sound

The CD-140SCE Satin is a Dreadnought model that produces good volume with warm bass tones. The solid spruce top ensures that it has good resonance too, and adds brightness to the overall sound as well. Lastly, the mahogany back and sides complete the picture, giving you a full, well-balanced sound overall. Finally, the FSR CD-140SCE Satin comes with Fender Dura-Tone 80/20 Phosphor Bronze strings fitted as standard.

Fender have equipped the CD-140SCE with a Presys preamp by the well-known brand Fishman. This compact, advanced system gives you complete control over your volume level and has a 3-band EQ to adjust the bass, mid and treble. It also features a phase switch for effectively countering unwanted feedback. For optimal use, this preamp also includes an integrated tuner with an LED display so you can tune your guitar easily at any time. Last but not least, this preamp is designed in such a way that enables you to replace the battery in a flash.
