Vintage has released their very first 7-string electric guitar: the V7HTBB. This model is part of the Rock series and offers excellent value for money. It features Wilkinson hardware, its sustain and overall playability are excellent, and it won't go out of tune too quickly. V7HTBB: durable construction

The Vintage V7THBB features a solid poplar body. Poplar is a wood type that is reminiscent of alder, and offers a beautifully balanced tone. To give the neck the extra stability it needs to handle the extra power of that additional low B string, it's made of triple-laminated maple. The bridge is a Wilkinson Tune-O-Matic, which makes tuning an absolute breeze and gives the guitar its excellent sustain. Its two humbuckers are also made by Wilkinson. The PHS7 double-coils offer a powerful sound that ranges from clean to heavy metal, partly thanks to the 3-way pickup switch.

The Vintage brand

Vintage's history can be roughly divided into two periods. In the early days, they made cheap copies that lived up to all the negative stereotypes about low-budget instruments. However, that changed drastically when Trevor Wilkinson, famed for his affordable yet high-quality guitar parts, attached his name to the Vintage brand. Not only did Vintage's hardware division receive a shot of quality, the wood selection and construction methods were also vastly improved. Since then, Vintage has become known for their excellent price-to-quality ratio, and they've certainly been holding their own among the ferocious competition in this price range.
