General
Strandberg present the headless Sälen Jazz NX 6, planting an electric thinline guitar firmly in the 21st century. That said, this multiscale, semi-hollow guitar hasn't lost sight of tradition and features a classic F-hole, a satin-gloss finish and a mostly mahogany build. What's more, you're looking at a chambered mahogany body that not only comes finished with a snug torso carve, but has been joined to a carbon-fibre-reinforced neck that features the brand's patented EndurNeck profile. In other words, you can rest assured that you're getting the playing comfort needed to play highly technical licks, backed up by a relaxed feel and ample grip at the same time.
The Sälen Jazz NX 6: Masses of Comfort & Vintage Warm Sound
Thanks to the newly formed heel at the neck joint, masses of comfort are a given all the way up to the 24th stainless steel fret. To guarantee a warm acoustic foundation sound, the sides of the solid maple body as well as the veneer on the top have been made of mahogany, just like the neck. So the core sound of the NX 6 can be flexibly amplified without losing its vintage edge, Strandberg have armed this headless six-string with pair of MF Classic humbuckers, which combine with a 5-way instead of classic 3-way pickup switch to give you an even broader tonal spectrum to explore. Lastly, it's worth mentioning that the Sälen Jazz NX 6 comes including a standard gig bag, a multi-tool and a hex key.
