Squier have only made very few, very exclusive FSR Classic Vibe '60s Custom Esquires, and this faithful throwback of an electric guitar offers the more budget-conscious guitarists a sweet slice of Fender history. This very special instrument comes packed with familiar sixties style, all the way from the double body binding to the tinted maple neck, nickel-plated hardware, and classic ashtray bridge.

The Classic Vibe '60s Custom Esquire: Trusted Playability

The neck has been given the snug feel of a slim C-profile for maximum playability and the fretboard bears the familiar grip of a rounded 9.5-inch radius and 21 narrow-tall frets. The sound of this close-reincarnation of a lesser-known legend is shaped by just one Fender Designed Alnico single-coil at the bridge, and in true Esquire-spirit, is coupled with an extensive tone control pot and three-way switch for activating a unique set of voicings. The Custom Esquire is just as versatile, agile, responsive, and dynamic as it was sixty years ago.
